Configuration

To configure wh-fs, edit the wh-fs.conf file.
Comments are started with the '#' sign.
It has a variable = value structure, each one in one line.
Variables can be set in any order.

Configuration file structure/variables

logfile

Value: an relative or absolute file path.
Here you define where to log the scan information. File must be writable.
Default value: wh-fs.log

scan_dir

Value: an absolute directory path.
This is where to search for files, to be scanned. Note that wh-fs will also search in all the subdirectories. You may define more than one scan_dir variables in the configuration file.
Default value: /home/

scan_dir_not

Value: an absolute directory path.
This is where to NOT scan for files. You may define more than one scan_dir_not variables in the configuration file.
Default value: none

xml_dir

Value: an absolute directory path.
This is where to look for the .xml files, where the signatures are stored.
YOU MUST EDIT THIS VALUE OR THE SCRIPT WON'T DO ANYTHING:-D
Default value: none

save_matches

Value: boolean (1=on, 0=off).
Whether to log the signatures each file matched (save_matches = 1) or not (0).
Set this to 1 for debugging/checking.
Default value: 0

threshold

Value: integer (1,2,3…)
These is the minimum detection point(s) a file needs to be logged.
Default value: 1

max_file_size

Value: bits (integer)
This is the maximum size a file can be in bits. If it's bigger, it won't be processed.
This is a necessary check, since wh-fs puts the whole file content on memory.
Default value: 4096000 = 500 KB
